Résumé : | Elementary Geometry is for students entering university or preparatory class, or even any curious mind. Because of the various points of view adopted, this book is also intended for the candidates of the competitions, with a particular thought for the candidates to the competitions of the teaching; he was born from teacher's memories of Terminale C and a Bachelor's degree given at the University of Tours. Elementary Geometry covers in part the various programs taught in high school from 1945 to the present day with the exception of descriptive geometry. It is not a controversial work on "modern math" but a synthesis between two conceptions of geometry. |
