For several years, the study of the diluted magnetic semiconductors (DMS) has constituted a major subject of research in the condensed matter’s physics. The interest of these compounds is double, since they are, at the same time, semiconductors, and ferromagnetic materials. This work presents a contribution to the properties study of a diluted ferromagnetic semiconductor AlN doped Mn. Calculations of the various structural, electronic and magnetic properties were based on the density functional theory (DFT). In which the method of the linearized increased plane waves (LAPW) was used. We employment the supercell’s approach to study the dropping’s effect of manganese on the magnetic interactions in AlN doped Mn. The detailed study of the total and partial density of states has allowed us to determine the type of hybridization, i.e. exchange interaction between the p orbital of Arsenic and Manganese d orbital. The exchange interaction between a Mn pairs is found to oscillate with the distance between them.
