Résumé : | The aim of our work is to study one of the organic semiconductors, pentane, using special precipitation devices and methods for studying its physical properties. After presenting the basic concepts organic semiconductorsin the first part of the manuscript, in particular their structure, the concept of charge carriers, andCharge transfer and its applications in the principle of operation of organic transistors and photovoltaic cells. In the second part, we detailed about the deposition methods for thin layers and methods of studying the characteristics of these thin films. In the third chapter we studied the physical properties of Pentacene where it is deposited using vacuum evaporation at 10-5 to2.10-6mbar because it is one of the small polymers using precipitation velocity ofdeposition rate at 0.15to 4 A/s. Pentacene is characterized by good absorption (low transmission) of visible light. The absorption range in the visible period is 350-700 nm with a maximum absorption around 680 nm. The wide absorption band indicates that the conjugated Pentacene structure absorbs a wide range of wavelength sand, thus, an increase in electron-hole pair generation is expected upon visible light irradiation. Low-thickness Pentacene films provide higher conductivity guaranteed with good functional charge mobility. On the other hand, films with higher thickness have lower conductivity. At the end of this thesis, we propose to develop this work by increasing the taking of other samples for study, in order to come up with better results and better performances about the Pentacene. |
